Brassica oleracea (Palm kale) Nero di Toscana BIO

Brassica oleracea (Palm kale) Nero di Toscana BIO

A specialty of Tuscany is not as hardy as other types of cabbage.

The plant forms a rosette of long leaves that can be harvested continuously. They are prepared like kale, the leaves become darker when cooked, which is why this specialty is also known as black cabbage. Young leaves are often used in healthy smoothies.

Cabbage needs nutrients, fertilize sufficiently.

The harvest takes place from October to February.  Sowing takes place from March to June with pre-cultivation, then planting at a distance of 50 x 50 cm.

Kale is one of the heavy eaters that needs to be adequately supplied with nutrients.
