Brassica oleracea (Savoy cabbage) Bloemendaalse Gele BIO

Brassica oleracea (Savoy cabbage) Bloemendaalse Gele BIO

A particularly tender savoy cabbage that is loosely structured and allows individual leaves to be harvested.

Almost disappeared from the gardens, today it is a real trendy vegetable.

Harvesting can be done as needed and over a long period of time. Harvest the leaves from the outside in, finally the remaining head. Hardy in mild locations or with protection.

Sowing takes place from March to the beginning of June with pre-cultivation, then planting at a distance of 50-60 x 50 cm. The harvest takes place from June to the end of November, depending on the sowing.

Savoy cabbage is one of the heavy eaters that needs to be supplied with sufficient nutrients.
