Langedijker Bewaar is a robust, medium-sized white cabbage that is characterized by its long standing in the field and good storage properties in autumn.
Due to its fast growth, this variety is also well suited for cultivation in climatically less favorable locations, such as low mountain ranges.
Sowing takes place from February to the end of May with pre-cultivation, then planting outdoors, planting distance: 60 x 50 cm. The harvest takes place from the beginning of August to the end of December.
White cabbage is one of the heavy eaters that needs to be supplied with sufficient nutrients.
