The pure white turnips are very popular in both France and England. Tokyo Top F1 produces tender, smooth turnips that are ideally harvested at a size of 5-9 cm. Tokyo Top F1 is very bolt-resistant and is recommended for sowing from spring to late summer. The leaves can also be used; they can be prepared like spinach.

Sowing takes place from April to September as direct sowing in rows, 25-20 cm apart, thinning in the row to approx. 10-15 cm or later. Depending on the sowing date and the size of the turnips, the harvest takes place approximately 40 days after sowing.
