The Canterbury Bells, is a classic biennial prized for its showy, bell-shaped flowers and old-fashioned charm.

The plant produces large, pendulous, bell-shaped flowers. Flowers are typically arranged in dense clusters (racemes) along upright stems.

As a biennial, it spends the first year growing foliage and the second year flowering. In the first year, focus on establishing the basal rosette of leaves. In the second year, stake the tall flowering stems if necessary to prevent flopping. Deadhead spent flowers to prolong blooming.
