Capsicum annuum (Peperoni) Rokita

Capsicum annuum (Peperoni) Rokita

Early, slightly hot pepper.

Rokita is an early, very tasty outdoor pepper with a slight spiciness.

The ripe, dark red fruits are around 15 cm long and are ideal as a snack or added to salads.

The plants are vigorous and ideally need support.

This early variety can also be cultivated outdoors, and of course just as well in the greenhouse.

Peppers need warmth. Best location: full sun facing south or in a foil greenhouse.

Always keep evenly moist, but not too wet. Fertilize regularly and use humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil.

Sowing takes place from the beginning of January to the beginning of March at 20-25 ° C with warm pre-culture indoors. Plant in the greenhouse or outdoors from mid-May at a distance of 50 x 50 cm. Depending on the cultivation method, the harvest takes place from the end of June.

Peppers are sensitive to frost.

Height about 80 cm outdoors, higher in the greenhouse.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
