Capsicum chinense (Chili) Habanero Red
Capsicum chinense (Chili) Habanero Red
Habanero has ultra-hot, red chili.
Red Habanero bears red, trapezoidal fruits with a very strong spiciness.
Habaneros come from the Mexican Yucatan Peninsula.
The red chilies, approximately 4 cm in size, are extremely hot and should only be used carefully.
The plant can be overwintered in a cool, bright place and will then bear fruit much earlier the following year. Good container plant.
Peppers need warmth. Best location: full sun facing south or in a foil greenhouse.
Always keep evenly moist, but not too wet. Fertilize regularly and use humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil.Â
Sowing takes place from the beginning of January to the beginning of March at 20-25 ° C with warm pre-culture indoors. Plant in the greenhouse or outdoors from mid-May at a distance of 50 x 50 cm. Depending on the cultivation method, the harvest takes place from the end of June.
Peppers are sensitive to frost.
Height about 60-80 cm outdoors, higher in the greenhouse.
Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
