This annual cornflower displays yellow, pompom-shaped flowers with creamy centres all summer long, that exhale a sweet fragrance reminiscent of amber.

This pretty plant is perfect for filling gaps in flowerbeds, and its flowers are wonderful in fresh or dried flower bouquets.

It can be directly sown in its final position, in spring or late summer, and is easy to grow in ordinary, moist to dry soil.
