Honeywort, Cerinthe major, is the perfect hardy annual for filling gaps in the ornamental border.
It has gorgeous silvery blue-green leaves and pretty bell-shaped purple flowers, which are a magnet for bees. It makes a wonderful cut flower.
Grow Cerinthe major in moist but well-drained soil in full sun.
Cerinthe is known for attracting bees and other pollinators. It has nectar/pollen rich flowers.
