Cucumis melo (Melon) Bari F1

Cucumis melo (Melon) Bari F1

Early, reliable cantaloupe.

Bari is characterized by robustness, earliness and a compact fruit set.

The round fruits weigh around 1.2 kg, the flesh is a bright orange and very tasty.

Bari is endowed with many natural resistances, including against Fusarium, powdery mildew and viral diseases.

Bari, like all melons, requires a warm location and some care.

Melons grow moderately and require around 1-2 square meters per plant.

Muskmelons have a strong scent when they are ripe.

Melons enjoy a mulching film.

In a nice and warm summer, the pulp contains more sugar than in a cold summer.

The seeds are sown indoors from the beginning of April at 24-28 ° C directly with 1-2 seeds in the small pot (do not keep the pots too moist) or from mid-May outdoors in a warm location. The harvest takes place in warm locations from mid-July.

Possible pests: lice, mice, powdery mildew.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
