Cucumis melo (Melon) Halona F1

Cucumis melo (Melon) Halona F1

Resistant, early cantaloupe melon.

Halona F1 is a very early, typical cantaloupe melon with netted, slightly ribbed skin.

Inside, the flesh is sweet, aromatic and has a beautiful orange color.

ith a ripening time of around 75-80 days, it is one of the earliest good varieties.

Halona F1 is resistant to powdery mildew and fusarium, making it very safe to grow.

Melons grow moderately and require around 1-2 square meters per plant.

Melons enjoy a mulching film.

In a nice and warm summer, the pulp contains more sugar than in a cold summer.

The seeds are sown indoors from the beginning of April at 24-28 ° C directly with 1-2 seeds in the small pot (do not keep the pots too moist) or from mid-May outdoors in a warm location. The harvest takes place in warm locations from mid-July.

Possible pests: lice, mice, powdery mildew.
