Cucumis melo (Melon) Tenor F1

Cucumis melo (Melon) Tenor F1

Extra early, high-yielding Galia melon.

Tenor F1 is an extra-early, reliable and high-yielding melon in the Galia type.

The yellow-marked fruits reach a weight of approximately 1 to 1.5 kg and have a whitish-green, aromatic and sweet flesh.

Tenor F1 is equipped with many natural resistances, including against Fusarium, powdery mildew and viral diseases.

Like all melons, it needs a warm location and some care.

Melons grow moderately and require around 1 square meter per plant.

Melons enjoy a mulching film.

In a nice and warm summer, the pulp contains more sugar than in a cold summer.

The seeds are sown indoors from the beginning of April at 24-28 ° C directly with 1-2 seeds in the small pot (do not keep the pots too moist) or from mid-May outdoors in a warm location. The harvest takes place in warm locations from mid-July.

Possible pests: lice, mice, powdery mildew.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
