Excellent, all-female short cucumber with a variety of resistances.
Melany F1 is an excellent, short cucumber with typical fruits, optimally harvested at a length of 22-25 cm. The fruits impress with their exceptionally good taste. Purely female flowering, very good fruit set, often 2 fruits per leaf node. Best yield in the greenhouse, thanks to its tolerance of slight day/night temperature fluctuations, it can also be cultivated outdoors in warm locations and in larger containers on the terrace or balcony. Resistant to powdery mildew, mosaic virus and cladosporium.
Sow at 22-25 ° C from March to May, then pre-cultivate and plant. Harvest period: from June to October.
To ensure a good and safe harvest, this cucumber should be protected cultivated under foil or glass.
