Harriet F1 impresses with its very high and continuous productivity, which also starts very early.
The plants flower purely female, so this variety can also be grown very well in a greenhouse or cold frame. Very beautiful, only inconspicuously warped fruits with a very good taste. Harriet F1 is multi-resistant against, among other things, downy mildew, as well as viruses and cucumber scabies.
Sowing takes place indoors at 22-25 ° C from March to May, followed by pre-cultivation and planting, direct sowing with 2-3 grains possible from the beginning of May. The planting distance is approximately 150 x 30 cm. The harvest takes place continuously from around July to October.
Pickling cucumbers are gratefull to a good and balanced supply of nutrients as well as regular watering in dry times assuring a continuous and rich harvest.
