Heart-shaped, household-friendly fruits. Amoro F1 is an excellent pumpkin.
Amoro is a new variety bred in the Netherlands.
The heart-shaped fruits weigh around 1 to 1.3 kg and contain excellent pulp.
The compact growth allows one plant per square meter to be planted and a good yield of around 3-4 fruits.
Ripening time: about 90 days.
Amoro F1: bushy plant type.
This variety grows well in warm, well-drained soils.
Pre-cultivation and planting with sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.
Optimum germination at 24-30o C. When sowing stick the pointed side of the seed down or lay them flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place in a brighter and cooler place.
The planting distance for pumpkins depends on the climbing behavior.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, lice, powdery mildew, virus.
Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
