Cucurbita maxima White Turban

Cucurbita maxima White Turban

Pure white, large bishop’s hat.

This new color has been cultivated over 5 years and has been found as a sport in propagation and today has no false colors. Otherwise it has all the same properties as the mother variety Turban and is presented in a beautiful white. Sport refers to natural genetic variations, usually in color. This happens in nature from time to time.

White Turban should be harvested when ripe and stored in a dark place to prevent gray discoloration.

Ripening time: 90 days.

White Turban vines moderately.

This variety grows well in warm, well-drained soils.

Pre-cultivation and planting with sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.
