Green with brown spots, very beautiful.
Big Gold, a Fagtong native to Asia, bears flat-round, ribbed fruits weighing approximately 3-5 kg.
The fruits store excellently and make very good squash.
We recommend pre-cultivating and planting this heat-loving variety for Central Europe.
Ripening time: 120 days.
Trailing behavior: moderate.
Cucurbita moschata require a lot of heat and is therefore better to be pre-cultivated. Varieties with a ripening time of up to 110 days also thrive in cold regions.
Optimum germination at 24-30o C. When sowing stick the pointed side of the seed down or lay them flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place in a brighter and cooler place.
The planting distance for pumpkins depends on the trailing behavior.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, lice, powdery mildew, virus.
Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
