Crowning is an Asian novelty, with exceptional pulp.
The fruits, weighing about 2 kg, are round to flat-round and have a green-brown pattern.
Ripening time: 115 days.
Crowning F1 vines.
Cucurbita moschata require a lot of heat and is therefore better to be pre-cultivated. Varieties with a ripening time of up to 110 days also thrive in cold regions.
Optimum germination at 24-30o C. When sowing stick the pointed side of the seed down or lay them flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place in a brighter and cooler place.
Crowning F1 is vining and requires around 2-3 square meters of space per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, lice, powdery mildew, virus.
Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
