Uniformly falling and high-yielding butternut.

Uniform butternut weighing 1.5 – 2 kg, good fresh market and household size.

The plants are vigorous, have a good yield and show good mildew tolerance (PMT). Butternuts need a warm, protected location. Direct sowing possible in warm locations.

Ripening time: 90 days.

Pluto vines moderately.

Cucurbita moschata require a lot of heat and is therefore better to be pre-cultivated. Varieties with a ripening time of up to 110 days also thrive in cold regions.

Optimum germination at 24-30o C. When sowing stick the pointed side of the seed down or lay them flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place in a brighter and cooler place.

For Pluto F1 we ​​recommend 1-2 square meters per plant.

Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, lice, powdery mildew, virus.
