Cucurbita moschata UG 205 F1 PMT

Blocky, uniform butternut with good yield.

Typical butternut with blocky shape, 1.3 to 1.8 kg, good yield with high yield.

Robust growth with good mildew tolerance (PMT) and virus resistance, vining.

Ripens well when planted in Central Europe. Butternuts need a warm, protected location. Direct sowing possible from May, but only recommended to a limited extent due to the long maturation period.

Ripening time: 100-105 days.

UG 205 F1 vines moderately.

Cucurbita moschata require a lot of heat and is therefore better to be pre-cultivated. Varieties with a ripening time of up to 110 days also thrive in cold regions.

For UG 205 F1 we recommend 1-2 square meters per plant.

Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, lice, powdery mildew, virus.
