Cucurbita pepo Baked Potato F1

Beautifully pronounced, beige-brown, elongated acorn fruits, weighing around 600-900 grams and very decorative.

Great for filling and cooking. Halved, cored and cooked in the oven for a delicious side dish reminiscent of a baked potato.

The plants grow in a bush-like, short, climbing pattern and are very productive.

Ripening time: 90 days.

Baked Potato F1 grows compactly with very short tendrils.

C. pepo grows well on warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivation and planting with sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.

Optimum germination at 24-30o C. When sowing stick the pointed side of the seed down or lay them flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place in a brighter and cooler place.

For Baked Potato F1 we recommend 1 square meters of space per plant.

Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, lice, powdery mildew, virus.

 

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
