Extraordinary, small, green and black decorative pumpkin.

The striking color and a very decorative shape make the fruits unique, weighing around 400-600 g. The dark green-black color changes to orange very late, but in normal cultivation only in October. Therefore, do not sow too early in warm locations.

Nice addition to the Casperita F1 and Orangita F1 varieties. Black Kat F1 is also suitable in the kitchen as a portion pumpkin, whole, stuffed and cooked.

Ripening time: 90 days.

Black Kat F1 grows bushy.

C. pepo grows well on warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivation and planting with sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.

Optimum germination at 24-30o C. When sowing stick the pointed side of the seed down or lay them flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place in a brighter and cooler place.

For Black Kat F1 we ​​recommend 1 square meter per plant.

Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, lice, powdery mildew, virus.

 

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
