A very decorative, dark yellow-orange colored patisson.

Strikingly shaped with more pronounced “fingers”. The ripe fruits are 15-20 cm large.

Yellow varieties tend to turn green when infected by known pumpkin viruses, which in this case also has a decorative effect. For a Patisson.

Helios F1 is quite robust and long-lasting. This variety is particularly decorative.

Ripening time: 80-85 days.

C. pepo grows well on warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivation and planting with sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.

Optimum germination at 24-30^o C. When sowing stick the pointed side of the seed down or lay them flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place in a brighter and cooler place.

Patissons require little space, usually 1 square meter per plant is enough.

Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, lice, powdery mildew, virus.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
