White patisson – UFO pumpkin.

Polo F1 bears fairly uniform, white fruits with a ripened diameter of around 15 cm. Unlike Custard White, the fruits are not as flat, rather a little bell-shaped.

Patissons, especially this variety, are often harvested unripe at a young stage and can then be prepared like zucchini.

Patisson’s are effective decorative pumpkins when mature. Harvested young to use like zucchini.

Ripening time: 50-80 days.

Polo F1 grows bushy.

C. pepo grows well on warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivation and planting with sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.

Optimum germination at 24-30^o C. When sowing stick the pointed side of the seed down or lay them flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place in a brighter and cooler place.

For Polo F1 we recommend approx. 1 square meter per plant.

Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, lice, powdery mildew, virus.
