Very nice round variety with quite good yields.

The fruits of Youngs Beauty weigh around 4-6 kg, are round, slightly ribbed and bright dark orange. The peel is very firm, which makes the fruit robust and durable.

Very good pumpkin for carving, painting and decorating.

Ripening time: 100 days.

C. pepo grows well on warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivation and planting with sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.

Optimum germination at 24-30^o C. When sowing stick the pointed side of the seed down or lay them flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place in a brighter and cooler place.

For Youngs Beauty we recommend 2-3 square meters per plant.

Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, lice, powdery mildew, virus.
