Cucurbita pepo (Zucchini) Costata Romanesco

Cucurbita pepo (Zucchini) Costata Romanesco

Costata Romanesco is probably rightly considered the tastiest zucchini

Anyone expecting top yields from Costata will be disappointed; it only produces about half the harvest of high-performance varieties. You will be compensated with really delicious zucchini for light cooking. The appearance of the fruits alone clearly distinguishes this variety from the masses. Water in dry conditions, sow from mid-April with pre-culture in pots, planting at a distance of 1 x 1 m.

Zucchini thrive in warm, well-drained soil, pre-cultivation and planting with sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May. The ripening time is approximately 50 days. Organic zucchini does not climb and grows like a bush. Organic zucchini should be harvested very young, ideally when or shortly after flowering. This variety can be harvested continuously.

For zucchini we recommend 1 square meter per plant.

Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, lice, powdery mildew, virus.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
