Commonly known as the perennial sweet pea or everlasting pea, is a climbing, herbaceous perennial plant. It is admired for its vibrant flowers and ability to cover trellises, fences, and walls with lush greenery and color.

Produces clusters offlowers that resemble the classic pea flower shape. Blooms are unscented (unlike annual sweet peas) but are large and showy.

When not provided with support, it can spread over ground areas, providing dense foliage.

Prefers full sun but tolerates partial shade. Thrives in well-drained, moderately fertile soil but is adaptable to poorer conditions. Requires regular watering during establishment but is drought-tolerant once mature.
