Bush/wax bean with flat pods.

Capitano is a yellow wax bean with flat pods, also known as sword bean. The pods are planted abundantly and uniformly and impress with a beautiful light yellow color right from the start. Capitano grows to about 50 cm tall and is resistant to grease spot, burn spot and bean mosaic virus. It takes around 65-75 days until harvest.

The seeds are sown directly outdoors from May to July. Row sowing, in the row 8-10 cm, between the rows 40 cm or as a clump seed at a distance of 40 x 40 cm with 4-5 grains. Harvest period: From July to October.

Fertilization generally not required. Avoid waterlogging and damp tillage. Later piling up is recommended.

 

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
