Pisum sativum (Pea) Cedrik

Pisum sativum (Pea) Cedrik

Robust, resistant, large-seeded pea.

Cedrik is a large-seeded, high-yielding pea with multiple resistances, e.g. against powdery mildew, fusarium and viral diseases.

The pods, which are quite large at 9 cm long, contain up to 8 peas. Harvesting the pods is very easy. Cedrik is a slightly later variety and should not be sown too late for a bountiful harvest.

The seeds are sown thinly in rows from April to June in a sunny location, 30-40 cm apart, in rows about 4-5 cm. The harvest takes place from July to September.

The plant height is approx. 80-90 cm.

As a rule, peas require little or no fertilization.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed in grams.
Approximately 4-5 seeds per gram.
