Pisum sativum (Pea) Half Pint

Compact, high-yielding pea that can be grown excellently in raised beds, pots, balconies and terraces.

Well-filled pods, aromatic for all kinds of dishes and for freezing. If it is a weak feeder, do not fertilize too much in the pot.

Harvested peas should be processed within 2-3 days, otherwise the sugar will turn into starch.

Sowing takes place from the beginning/mid-March to the beginning of June as direct sowing at a distance of 30-40 cm, in rows 3-5 cm, sowing depth 3-5 cm, when direct sowing in pots, place seeds 5 cm apart. Harvest period: around 12 weeks after sowing.

The plant height is approx. 40 cm.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed in grams.
Approximately 4-5 seeds per gram.
