Pisum sativum (Sugar pea) Ambrosia BIO

Ambrosia is a very high-yielding variety.

This sugar snap pea grows to about 70 cm tall and produces medium-sized, light green pods. Ambrosia is very productive. The sweet pods are eaten young with the shell on, before large grains have formed. When ripe it can be used as a pea.

Sow in rows or double rows from March. In the row about 3 cm apart, sowing depth about 3 cm.

Good in mixed culture with cabbage, radish and early potatoes. Do not cultivate together with onions.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed in grams.
Approximately 6 seeds per gram.
