Raphanus sativus (Radish) Kvarta

Raphanus sativus (Radish) Kvarta

Uniform, large all-season radish.

Kvarta is a brightly colored giant butter-type radish with a diameter of around 3 cm, which has proven itself in year-round cultivation. Kvarta is very fast growing and is perfect for subsequent sowings every 2 weeks for a continuous and regular harvest. Kvarta always remains tender and never becomes furry with enough water.

Sowing is carried out outdoors and in the greenhouse from the end of February to the beginning of September. Direct sowing in rows, 20 cm apart, 3 cm thin in the row. The harvest takes place from the end of April to October.

If you sow seeds every 3 weeks, you will always have fresh radishes.

Radishes should always be well watered and not harvested overripe and should never be left dry as this leads to spiciness and woodiness.
