Raphanus sativus (Rettich/Daikon) Münchener Bier

Proven white professional variety.

Munich beer is a particularly proven, fast-growing breed that is also well-proven in commercial cultivation. Munich beer thrives both outdoors and in the greenhouse for early or late harvest. The evenly shaped roots are hardly furry and have a mildly spicy taste.

In the open ground or greenhouse from January to July in rows, 20-30 cm x 15-20 cm apart. Harvest from the end of March until autumn, depending on the sowing date.

Radishes should always be well watered and not harvested overripe and should never be left dry as this leads to spiciness and woodiness.

 

Supplied as raw (normal) seed in grams.
Approximately 100 seeds per gram.
