Raphanus sativus (Rettich/Daikon) Red Meat

Attractive radish with pink flesh.

Red Meat impresses with its attractive and unusual color. The tubers, up to 12 cm in size, are white-green on the outside and pink-pink on the inside. The taste is slightly sweet and nutty, ideal as a raw vegetable or in a salad. The cultivation of this radish is quite simple and safe.

Sow outdoors or in a greenhouse directly in rows, 20-30 cm apart, in rows 15-20 cm. The harvest takes place from September to November, depending on the sowing date.

Radishes should always be well watered and not harvested overripe and should never be left dry as this leads to spiciness and woodiness.

 

Supplied as raw (normal) seed in grams.
Approximately 100 seeds per gram.
