Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Ananas

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Ananas

Fruity, large beef tomato.

Pineapple produces beef tomatoes weighing up to 450 grams with an incomparable fruity aroma, firm flesh and few seeds.

The color goes from yellow to pink and is very beautiful.

Pineapple is a late variety and must be grown with appropriate protection.

Because of the size of the fruits, the plant should be supported appropriately. If necessary, one or two fruits should be removed prematurely.

Sow at 20-25° C from February to the end of March, then pre-cultivate from February to April, plant outdoors after the last frost. The harvest takes place from the end of July to September.

Tomatoes love sunny and wind-protected locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich and nutrient-rich.

Tomato plants have high water needs. Never water the plants with tap-cold water. The water should at least be at room temperature. Always ensure that the leaves remain dry so that tomato rot has less chance.
