Tsakoniki is an attractive purple eggplant with a delicate flavor.

Tsakoniki is a medium-early, pretty purple and eggshell-colored egg fruit with fine, white flesh. The fruits ripen from around the beginning of August and reach a size of 20 cm.

The Tsakoniki eggplant variety is suitable for the greenhouse and for warm, sunny locations outdoors. Eggplant Tsakoniki also grows in large containers.

Sow at 20-25 ° C from the end of February to mid-April, then culture in pots until planting from the beginning of May. The required planting distance is approximately 40 x 60 cm. Eggplant Tsakoniki can be harvested from around the beginning of August to the end of September.
