Thymus serpyllum (Thyme)

Common names are wild thyme or creeping thyme: a low-growing, aromatic perennial herb. It is closely related to Thymus vulgaris (common thyme) but differs in growth habit, size, and certain uses.

Thymus serpyllum has a mild, sweet, and herbal scent, similar to that of common thyme but generally less pungent. The leaves release a pleasant fragrance when crushed.

Also very nice border or pot plant and attract insects.

Height: 10 cm.
