Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Citrina

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Citrina

High-yielding yellow tomato rarity.

Citrina is a yellow, lemon-shaped tomato with a prominent tip. The good-tasting fruits weigh around 80 g and grow in large, multi-fruited panicles.

As a medium-late variety, Citrina feels most comfortable in protected cultivation, but also thrives in warm locations outdoors.

Sow at 20-25° C from February to the end of March, then pre-cultivate from February to April, plant outdoors after the last frost. The harvest takes place from the end of July to September.

Tomatoes love sunny and wind-protected locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich and nutrient-rich.

Tomato plants have high water needs. Never water the plants with tap-cold water. The water should at least be at room temperature. Always ensure that the leaves remain dry so that tomato rot has less chance.
