Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Liguria BIO
Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Liguria BIO
Bag-shaped Cuor di Bue tomato.
Liguria is a crimson red variety from the Cuor di Bue tomato group.
The very tasty fruits are clearly furrowed and, at around 120 to 300 grams, are not as heavy as the usual Cuor di Bue.
Liguria thrives both in the greenhouse and outdoors in protected places.
For Liguria, the 2-shoot culture is recommended, pruning early and then raising and thinning out 2 shoots.
Sow at 20-25° C from February to the end of March, then pre-cultivate from February to April, plant outdoors after the last frost. The harvest takes place from the end of July to September.
Tomatoes love sunny and wind-protected locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich and nutrient-rich.
Tomato plants have high water needs. Never water the plants with tap-cold water; the water should at least be at room temperature. Always ensure that the leaves remain dry so that tomato rot has less chance.
Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
