Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Miel du Mexique BIO

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Miel du Mexique BIO

The famous Mexican honey tomato.

The Mexican honey tomato is a small, red cherry tomato with a legendary reputation and a long tradition. The small, spherical fruits weighing between 15 and 20 grams are sweet and juicy with a very good taste. The variety is of the medium early ripening type.

The plants are vigorous and quite productive. They thrive both in protected cultivation and outdoors.

Sow at 20-25° C from February to the end of March, then pre-cultivate from February to April, plant outdoors after the last frost. The harvest takes place from the end of July to September

Tomatoes love sunny and wind-protected locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich and nutrient-rich.

Tomato plants have high water needs. Never water the plants with tap-cold water. The water should at least be at room temperature. Always ensure that the leaves remain dry so that tomato rot has less chance.
