Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Tamina

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Tamina

Tamina is one of the earliest outdoor tomatoes.

It bears medium-sized, bright red fruits with a very good taste.

Established outdoors and in greenhouse cultivation with a very good early yield. Tamina is potato-leaved and is also sold under the name Matina.

Sow at 20-25° C from February to the end of March, then pre-cultivate from February to April, plant outdoors after the last frost. The harvest takes place from the end of July to September.

Tomatoes love sunny and wind-protected locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich and nutrient-rich.

Tomato plants have high water needs. Never water the plants with tap-cold water. The water should at least be at room temperature. Always ensure that the leaves remain dry so that tomato rot has less chance.
