Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Virgilio F1

Vigorous, healthy and tasty beef tomato, often resistant to viruses and fungal diseases.

Virgilio F1 is incomparable in many characteristics. The plants are vigorous, healthy and productive.

The variety has a wide range of resistance to viral and fungal diseases.

The unique, large red fruits with a slightly green collar have very tasty flesh without being mealy and are easy to cut.

Virgilio F1, a so-called Super Steak tomato, should definitely find a place in the greenhouse, as it rewards you with an earlier and richer harvest.

It is only recommended for outdoor cultivation in very favorable locations.

Sow at 20-25° C from February to the end of March, then pre-cultivate from February to April, plant outdoors after the last frost. The harvest takes place from the end of July to October.

Tomatoes love sunny and wind-protected locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich and nutrient-rich.

Tomato plants have high water needs. Never water the plants with tap-cold water. The water should at least be at room temperature. Always ensure that the leaves remain dry so that tomato rot has less chance.

 

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
