The fruits are flat-round, bright yellow and clearly ribbed. The fruit weight is around 250 to 350 grams.
Like all large beef tomatoes, Yellowstone thrives best in protected cultivation. In warm locations and with a roof, Yellowstone also grows well outdoors.
Sow at 20-25° C from February to the end of March, then pre-cultivate from February to April, plant outdoors after the last frost. The harvest takes place from the end of July to October.
Tomatoes love sunny and wind-protected locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich and nutrient-rich.
Tomato plants have high water needs. Never water the plants with tap-cold water. The water should at least be at room temperature. Always ensure that the leaves remain dry so that tomato rot has less chance.
